Tolerance Homosexual Style?

“The very fact that I’m talking to you like this here today puts me in jeopardy,” she said in her speech. “So, so be it. I’m not anti, I’m not gay bashing, but according to God’s Word, that is not the right kind of lifestyle. It has deadly consequences for those people involved in it. They have more suicides … there’s more illness. Their life spans are shorter.”
“It’s not a lifestyle that is good for this nation. As a matter of fact, studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades. So it’s the death knell for this country. I honestly think it’s the biggest threat that our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat,”
She has received 30,000 emails! Thirty thousand!!!!!!! Most of them were threatening…..many death threats.
So………this is what tolerance is all about?
I can tell that Ms Kern is tolerant in the true sense of the word.
Read what she has to say:
“I’m not going to apologize for exercising my First Amendment right,” she told The Oklahoman.
She was equally supportive of the rights of homosexual activists to protest her remarks at the state capital. “That’s great they came to the Capitol. This is a free country. They’re exercising their First Amendment right,” Kern told AP.

the best way to determine what is and what is not acceptable to be spoken in free society, is to take the written or spoken message and transpose the word “black” for the word homosexual i say BLACK, because this society thru trial and have finally become sensitive to bigotted attitudes against this ethnic. even though one is an ethnic and the other is an orientation, they are both about identity of being.

in additon the term “lifestyle is a misnomer. it is not life style, its a life.
when i was younger i lived a club going life style. this changed as i matured.
being gay has the same depth of identity as being heterosexual. as with being heterosexual is intertwined with having or being part of families, careers, self actualizations, a life of faith,etc

Thank you for stopping by.
Please understand something about your viewpoint: it is comparing, not apples to oranges, but apples to orangutans. Why? Simply because one cannot choose what color he is. On the other hand, homosexuality is a learned behavioral trait. Homosexuality is a choice. It is a choice to worship and serve the creature more than the Creator who is blessed forever. (See Romans 1:24-28 in the Holy Bible)
Please understand that God is worth more than sex. God’s plan for sex and marriage is that it show His love for His church and His church’s love for Him (See Ephesians 5:22-33 in the Holy Bible). This picture will only be accurate in a heterosexual relationship of love, honor, self-sacrifice, submission, and (when possible) procreation. There is a difference between Jesus and the church, just as there is a difference between men and women. They are designed to complement each other in the marital relationship. Anything that goes against this natural, God-ordained plan is detrimental to the physical, mental and spiritual health of the one who crosses the boundary to have sex of ANY sort outside of heterosexual marriage. You see, Feet, the issue is not simply homosexuality. The issue is God’s ordained plan for men and women in marriage. God is just as opposed to heterosexual acts outside of marriage as He is to homosexuality in any state. The beauty of sex and marriage as designed by God is that it is the consummation of a loving relationship in which both the man and woman love God above all and seek to show that love to each other, thus enjoying God together in a committed, life-long, monogamous, heterosexual relationship that shows that God is more valuable than ANYTHING, not just sex, but money, food, luxury, etc.
Please examine your heart and seek to place your treasure in heaven instead of in a fleeting relationship that will leave you feeling dirtier and less fulfilled each time you enter into it.

I did not choose to be gay, but I am.
For the people who think it is a choice, what date did you get your Gay Card in the mail and “decide” to check the straight box?
How do you know your are straight?
That is how we know we are gay. We just are.
God made me exactly the way I am.

feetxxxl, your substitution of blacks for homosexual produces a nonsensical rebuttal for several reasons, one of the main being that the facts given relating to homosexuals are not facts that are true of blacks.

Choice comes in many different ways. One does not have to check a box to make a choice. One only has to have the realization of what is natural and what is not to make a choice.
Every human being has a tendency to sin, but God cannot be blamed with making them that way. God made man upright, but man went his own way. So it is with sexual practices….that is what homosexuality is; a practice. It is a lifestyle, and it is a worship of sex that becomes more important than anything else so much so that one identifies himself by his sexual practices.
I am heterosexual by nature, because God made us all that way. Sir, or madam, if you truly believe in God you know that the Bible does say that we were created male and female and the female was given to the man for his helper who would complement him. Physiologically and mentally women are different enough from men that they complement men. There is a difference between men and women. It is both anatomical and mental. They are equal in worth, yet different so that the woman makes the man better in a committed heterosexual relationship. If that cannot be accepted, I have pity for you. Anyone that refuses to see that there are these differences in anatomy and mind is too blind to be helped.
God did not make you a homosexual. In fact, it is most likely that you had to overcome a natural revulsion to the things that you do in order to commit homosexual acts. Why? Because it is against nature and naturally sickens people until their minds, hearts, and souls get calloused enough not to feel it.
Please understand that you can be forgiven of your sins by Christ.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Cor 6:9-11) KJV
Please identify with Christ and His upholding the law and righteousness of God. His sacrifice was not for you and me to continue in sin, but to save us from sin.
