Christian Hypocrisy????

I believe that they should. We should all be opposed to homosexual “marriage.” Marriage is ordained of God to be a monogamous heterosexual relationship.
That last phrase is why I speak of Christian hypocrisy. Can we truly have an impact in this culture war if we do not work harder to uphold the sanctity of heterosexual marriage? Too many “Christians” divorce and remarry all of the time. Not all of them are wrong; sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. On the other hand, most of them are wrong. How can I say that? Simply because it is not God’s will for marriages to end. God intended for them to last until death breaks the bond. Someone, however, in every divorce does not see it quite so clearly as that. For this cause they divorce. The divorce may be about money, in-laws, infidelity, etc. Whatever the case may be, it is happening too much.
Let us issue a loud call for Christians to work hard to uphold the standard. If we do not, we fail on both fronts: homosexual “marriage” and heterosexual marriage.
So far our track record is not a good one.
Just musing….
